Meet the Director of the Expedition for TEP - and the first person from the team who I had the honour of 'meeting' - Cameron Kerr.
Cameron is an amputee military veteran who lost his left leg from an exploding IED while serving in Afghanistan. As a Warfighter Sports ambassador, he teamed up with Disabled Sports USA to embark on a journey on foot to the geographical South Pole, and after skiing for eight days across the icy, barren, freezing-cold landscape, he and his team completed their journey. He has also run the Boston Marathon twice, completed a 50-mile race through Norway and has skied the last 60 miles to the South Pole with the 2041 Foundation in January 2020.
Cameron loves to motivate others and hopes to play a part in reshaping views on disability and veterans. He was my first point of contact for the Expedition and his extraordinary story continues to inspire me. He has truly shown me that it is possible to achieve anything you set your mind to, no matter your circumstances.

I really believe that Cameron has helped to shape the incredible team that will be travelling from all over the world to Antarctica this November.
Please support me in my journey there! https://goget.fund/3t5vze8

Donna
