8. Making an Impact Outside of Antarctica

While this Expedition allows me to chase my dream of creating a significant shift in the mindset around climate change, many of you might be thinking how I will actually be making a difference back here at home.

The truth is that there are so many ways to fight climate change. Many people assume that they cannot make a large impact because the steps they take to protect the environment seem too simple – but these are often the most powerful ! The people that make the biggest difference are the ones who do little things consistently.

Each decision we make – from choosing how we power our homes, how we eat, and what we buy – can make a huge difference!

I’m fighting to change this mindset of futility and will be sharing more details about the simple but powerful steps we can take to make a change. Through presentations, workshops and interviews, my mission is to reach and convince as many people as possible that they are significant and can make a difference by taking these necessary steps.

Each one of us can make a difference. Together we can make a change .
